Flag Rock 5K Trail Run

The fourth annual Flag Rock 5K Trail Run is part of the High Knob Outdoor Fest hosted by the City of Norton. The route is located on the Flag Rock Area Trails within Norton’s Flag Rock Recreation Area. The race start is at the Norton Reservoir Trailhead.

Race proceeds benefit the High Knob Outdoor Fest. The festival highlights outdoor recreation opportunities in the High Knob Region through organized outdoor trips, events, and presentations that encourage more people to use regional trails and public lands.

Registration is $20 until Aug. 11 and $25 on race day. Both online and mail-in registration options are offered, and checks should be made payable to the City of Norton. Race day registration is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026.

Awards are given to the top three men and the top three women. All participants will receive a 2026 High Knob Outdoor Fest T-shirt. Past race results are available for previous years, including 2023 through 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
