Hearts of Hope 5K
Hearts of Hope 5K is a student led community running event scheduled for 11/14/2026 at 8246 Cleveland Rd, Clayton, NC 27520. The event features a 3.1 Miles course and is organized to raise awareness and support for families throughout Johnston County.
The race was created by Corinth Holders High School DECA in partnership with OneCompassion. Registration opens 9/2/2026 at 10:00 and closes 10/12/2026 at 23:59. The registration fee is $25.00.
The event follows the 2025 Women of Worth 5K, which raised more than $6,299 and engaged over 3,000 community members. Hearts of Hope is presented as a continuation of those community efforts, intended to involve students, residents, and partner organizations in local support activities.
Participants of all ages and experience levels are welcome. The event accommodates running and walking and also notes spectator involvement from the sidelines. Proceeds and attention from the event are directed toward families in Johnston County, and the organizers describe the race as the start of a local tradition based on compassion, connection, and hope.
