Race for ACE 5K Run, Walk and Virtual Event
The Race for ACE is an annual event at Camp Agapé held in November 2026 as the eighth running of the race. The event offers a live 5K trail run and walk on the Camp Agapé property and a virtual 5K option that can be completed by running, walking, biking, swimming, skiing, or skating.
Live and virtual entry fees are specified by age group: live entry is $50 for ages 13 and over and $25 for ages 12 and under; virtual entry is $45 for ages 13 and over and $25 for ages 12 and under. Live participants receive a runner bib, medallion, brunch, a raffle ticket, and a chance for prizes. Virtual participants receive a runner bib, medallion, and a chance for prizes; virtual registrants have a registration deadline of October 1.
The live course begins near the Woodlands Center, follows a gravel road toward the Gerhard Cabin with a loop on a grassy field, includes a steep hill, passes through the campground loop and Kidd Field, then continues onto pavement through the camp entrance before a mostly downhill section near Alice Holleman Road and a final gravel approach to the finish line.
Proceeds support the Agapé Center for Environmental Education to purchase materials and resources that help keep the environmental education program accessible.
