Women of the ELCA 5K
The Women of the ELCA 5K is an event taking place in Des Moines at the Principal River Walk. The activity is part of the 13th Triennial Gathering, an event held every three years that brings together approximately 1,000 participants for worship, speakers, workshops, and service projects. The 2026 gathering centers on the theme "I am Worthy," inspired by Psalm 139:14.
Participants can choose to complete the course by running, walking, or rolling. The event is open to all individuals who wish to register and participate. The registration fee is $45.00, and the registration period remains open until the morning of the activity.
