Confluence Brewing 5K Beer Run
The event is an untimed, casual 5Kish run that starts and ends at the Confluence Brewing Company taproom in Des Moines, Iowa. The mapped course travels near Gray's Lake and Des Moines Water Works Park and takes place on public roads; participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws and remaining aware of their surroundings.
Registration includes one craft beverage from Confluence Brewing Company and either a collector's pint glass or a Brewery Running Series swag item. Attendees have access to the day's onsite activities when available, which may include live music, food trucks, and games.
An ID is required at the event. Participants do not need to be 21 to take part in the run, but only those 21 and older may consume alcoholic beverages on site; underage participants receive a token for a nonalcoholic beverage. The event proceeds in rain or shine, and a portion of event proceeds will support the Food Bank of Iowa. Registration is limited by the size of the taproom.
