5k Beer Run x Confluence Brewing
This event is a 5K-ish fun run that starts and ends at Confluence Brewing Company in Des Moines, Iowa. The mapped course passes Gray's Lake and Des Moines Water Works Park. The run is untimed and takes place on public roads.
Participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws and for their own safety on the open course. Registration includes one craft beverage from Confluence Brewing Company and a collector's pint glass or a Brewery Running Series swag item. The event also offers access to on-site activities when available, such as live music, food trucks, and games.
Alcohol service requires a valid ID; participants under 21 receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage. A portion of event proceeds will support the Food Bank of Iowa. The event runs rain or shine. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event and registration is limited to the capacity of the taproom.
