Clive Running Festival - 2026
The Clive Running Festival takes place on July 18, 2026 at Campbell Park in Clive, Iowa (1801 NW 114th St). The event uses the Clive Greenbelt Trail and nearby neighborhood streets for its courses. The 5K route runs partly on the trail and partly through a nearby neighborhood. The start and finish are located at Campbell Park.
Event entries include a variety of distances and age-based kids races. Online registration is offered for the 5K and the one-mile run for ages 6 to 17. The Kids Fun Run is not registered online; participants register on race day, complete a waiver, and receive a free race bib. Packet pickup is available at Fitness Sports in Clive before race day and at Campbell Park on race day.
The event is organized as a non-profit. Revenue exceeding expenses is used by the Clive Parks and Recreation Department for trail maintenance and improvements. Past proceeds supported installation of drinking fountains and purchase of snow removal equipment for the Greenbelt Trail. Walkers and wheelchair participants may enter any event. Pets are not permitted. Entrants may use their race number for swimming at the Clive Aquatic Center at no additional cost.
