Clive Running Festival - July 18, 2026
The Clive Running Festival is scheduled for July 18, 2026, with a new start and finish location at Campbell Park in Clive, Iowa. The course runs partly through a nearby neighborhood and partly on the Clive Greenbelt Trail, a year-round route used by runners, walkers, and bicyclists. Revenue from the event supports the Clive Parks and Recreation Department and has funded trail improvements such as drinking fountains and winter snow removal equipment.
The event program includes multiple distances and youth races:
- 5K
- 1 Mile (ages 6-17)
- Kids Trot fun runs, distances from 50 meters to 400 meters
Online registration is available for the 5K and 1 Mile. The Kids Fun Run does not use online registration; participants complete a waiver on race day and receive a race-day bib. Packet pickup is available at a local retail location before the event and at Campbell Park on race day. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed with race day entry.
Walkers and wheelchair participants are welcome to take part in any event. Pets are not permitted. Race proceeds that exceed expenses are used for community benefits.
