About the race
The WFT 5K Where Futures Thrive is the second annual Women for Tomorrow 5K Run and Walk on September 13, 2026, at Case Eagle Park, 304 S Rochester St, Burlington, WI 53105. The event supports local youth sports, arts, leadership, and enrichment programs; last year Women for Tomorrow awarded $4,000 to local youth organizations.
The event features a single 5K distance on a live route. The course is described as flat with 113 feet of elevation gain. A registration fee of $30.00 is listed. Participants will receive a race shirt while supplies last.
Teams are part of the event structure: the team with the most registered participants will earn a donation to the youth organization of their choice. Awards will be given to top teams, the overall male and overall female finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in the listed age groups. The top three overall finishers are removed from the age group results. Age groups are 6-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older.
