Jingle for Janet 5K/3K 2026
This community running and walking event in Waterford, Wisconsin raises funds for research through the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. Cholangiocarcinoma is described as an increasingly common form of cancer that claimed the life of a longtime Waterford resident in 2018. Since the first event in 2018 the organizers report over $63,000 raised and a 30 percent increase in survival attributed to research during that time.

- 5K run, competitive and timed
- 3K walk, untimed and noncompetitive
- Virtual 5K option
- Virtual 3K option
- Long sleeve shirt only option
- Beanie cap only option
The onsite 5K uses 10 year age groups for both genders with different groupings under age 20, and medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Teams require at least three individuals; awards are planned for the top three teams both competitively and by fundraising. Virtual participants are asked to time themselves and submit results. The registration system accepts online entries up to the race start and on site registration is also available. If a T shirt or beanie is ordered after December 1 it must be picked up on site on race day.
