SNOW Fun Run
The SNOW Fun Run is a 5K run/walk and post race party held at the four-diamond Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on January 9, 2027. The event combines a timed 5K with an indoor reception in the Grand Ball Room, located north of the resort main entrance.
The party includes a Schnapps Stop at the end of the run, food, beer and soda, a DJ, dancing, and dance contests. Costumes are optional. Bib pickup is available on race day at the Grand Ball Room.
Registration fees change over time: $55 until 12/1, $60 until 1/1, and $65 after that. A guest ticket is available for $35. A special award is planned for all preregistered runners.
Course details for the new 5K route are pending. Awards are presented to first place finishers by age, with medals for the fastest male and female in each age and overall winners for fastest male and female. The event also notes a grand overall champion award.
The run has a long history dating to 1980 in Lake Geneva, when the first edition attracted more than 1,000 participants. The event has since added additional running and party features while keeping an annual format. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
