The Marathon starts in Sideshore, Exmouth, and follows sections of the Exe Estuary, the East Devon Way, the Otter Valley and the Southwest Coast Path, finishing where it started. The Half Marathon starts in Tipton St John and follows the second half of the Marathon route to Exmouth. The 10 km starts in Budleigh Salterton and follows the Southwest Coast Path to the finish in Exmouth.
Cut-off times are stated as nine hours for the Marathon, with an option of an early start if more time is required, and seven hours for the Half Marathon.
The event program includes an optional pre-race dinner on the Saturday evening and family activities on the Sunday during the event; further details will be announced and entrants prior to those announcements will receive early notification of signup options.
Trekking or running poles are permitted but participants are asked to be considerate of other path users, as some sections are narrow. Bone conducting headphones are allowed; in-ear and over-ear headphones are not permitted. Participants should ensure headphones do not distract them from the route or other runners.
Entries open 6 March 2026 and close 10 April 2027. Entry fees are listed separately for each distance and include staged increases from 1 February 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
