WisePies Pizza Run - 7th Annual
WisePies Pizza Run is a community running event on 05/16/2027 at Aperture Park at Mesa Del Sol, 5700 University Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. The event offers three distances and distinct course features, and proceeds support Make-A-Wish New Mexico and Girls on the Run - Rio Grande.
Event distances:
- 1 Mile fun run or walk through the Mesa del Sol neighborhood.
- 5K timed road run on a generally flat course with views of five surrounding mountain ranges.
- 10K timed challenge featuring rolling hills and elevation changes, passing stone snake landmarks.
Registration details vary by distance; registration closes 03/15/2027. Entry fees are listed per distance. Packet pickup is available Thursday 05/13 through Saturday 05/15 at Sol Fitness, 5700 University Blvd SE, first floor. Day-of pickup is available at the run location.
Participant services and inclusions are listed for all entrants and may include WisePies pizza and other post-run refreshments, an exclusive event t-shirt or tank top, an official running bib, a goodie bag, a route guide, post-event entertainment, access to family activities, entry into timed prize competitions, and a virtual participation option. Safety rules specify no bikes, skateboards, scooters, or motorized transportation during the events; small children and animals are not encouraged for the timed events.
