About the race
The Albuquerque Turkey Trot takes place at the Sid Cutter Pavilion in Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque, NM. The event program includes youth and adult running races, packet pick up and on-site registration on race day. Participants in several races receive event T-shirts and finisher medals.
The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K Run/Walk - all ages; T-shirt and Finisher's Medal.
- 10K Run - all ages; T-shirt and Finisher's Medal.
- 1 Mile Little Turkey - for kids ages 12 and under; T-shirt and Finisher's Medal.
- 50 Yards Tot Trot - for kids ages 6 and under; youth-size T-shirt included.
Awards include top three overall recognitions and age group awards, with age group awards available for pickup at the timing tent. A raffle giveaway is listed as part of the event program.
Parking is located in the Balloon Fiesta Park general parking northeast lot; entry should be made via San Mateo and Balloon Fiesta Parkway. Entry from Balloon Museum Drive is not allowed. After parking, attendees walk south toward the Sid Cutter Pavilion through the pedestrian gate, where volunteers will provide guidance.
