Albuquerque Turkey Trot
The Albuquerque Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 at the Sid Cutter Pavilion in Balloon Fiesta Park, Albuquerque, NM. The event includes multiple running distances and family-oriented youth races.
Distances:
- 50 yards - Tot Trot (ages 6 and under)
- 1 mile - Little Turkey Mile (ages 12 and under)
- 5K - 5k Run/Walk (all ages)
- 10K - 10k Run (all ages)
Participants in the 5K, 10K and Little Turkey Mile receive a T-shirt and a finisher's medal. Tot Trot registration includes a youth-size T-shirt. A warmup session will be led by a 2020 and 2024 Olympian. Top three overall awards and a raffle giveaway are part of the event, and age group awards are available for pickup at the timing tent. Race day packet pick up and registration are available on race day.
For parking, participants should use the general parking northeast lot at Balloon Fiesta Park and enter via San Mateo onto Balloon Fiesta Parkway. Entry from Balloon Museum Drive is not permitted. From the lot, walk south through the pedestrian gate toward the Sid Cutter Pavilion; volunteers will be on site to guide attendees. There are no refunds for this event.
