NM Hobbler Gobbler Thanksgiving Day Run
The NM Hobbler Gobbler takes place on November 26, 2026 at Loma Colorado Park, adjacent to the Rio Rancho Aquatic Center, 745 Loma Colorado NE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124. The event includes in-person and virtual options and offers multiple distance choices.

Registration opens in mid August with varying closing dates; fees listed for in-person events range from $15 for the Kids K to $40 for the 10K and 5K. Virtual event fees are listed separately. Race day registration is available but pre-registered participants are expected to pick up race packets in advance.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Fleet Feet and at the New Balance store in Albuquerque during set hours. Pre-registered participants may have a representative pick up their packet; out-of-town participants may pick up on race morning at the Loma Colorado Park registration area.
Registered participants receive a long sleeve event shirt, a finisher medal, and timing for the 10K and 5K using a disposable B-Tag attached to the bib. Overall and age group awards are given in the 10K and 5K. Water and Powerade are provided on course, with two water stations for the 10K and one for the 5K; portable toilets are available near the start/finish and on the 10K route.
Safety measures include on-site medical personnel and weather monitoring. Strollers are permitted on the 5K when started from the back of the pack; dogs are not allowed in the park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
