NHIs Annual Gratitude Run/Walk
The event is a community run and walk held at Arroyo del Oso Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The course passes through Arroyo del Oso Golf Course but begins and ends at Arroyo del Oso Park near the Wyoming and Spain area. The event is organized around the four F's - Family, Fun, Friendly, Free - and takes place on Thanksgiving morning.
Participants may support NHI programming through individual donations; funds raised support programming for the coming year. Donations can be made via Raceentry.com or the NHI website.
Race logistics noted by the organizer include that pets are not permitted on the course and strollers are allowed, though the course is described as very bumpy. Packet pick-up is offered at local locations before the event and at the NHI office on race day; event shirts and NHI merchandise are available at packet pick-up and at the event.
