Wisconsin Brain Tumor Walk & Race
The Wisconsin Brain Tumor Walk & Race is scheduled for July 11, 2026 at Warner Park in Madison, WI (2930 N Sherman Ave). The event centers on a community 5K walk/run (5K, 3.1 mi) that offers both timed running and untimed walking options.
The day includes a remembrance ceremony, an opening ceremony that recognizes survivors and top fundraisers, a kids fun run for children under 12, a silent auction, and a closing ceremony. Activities for children are planned. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome, and pets on leashes are allowed.
Registration options and fees are listed for in-person participants: adult walker $30, youth walker (12 and under) $5, adult timed runner $35, youth timed runner $20, and volunteer participation is free. Virtual participation is available with free registration; virtual participants who raise $75 or more by June 1, 2026 will receive an event t-shirt by event day. Event t-shirts are provided to registrants who sign up prior to June 1, 2026 and are not guaranteed for later registrants. Registration fees increase 30 days before the event and again during event week.
The event began in 2013 as a Madison 5K organized by a local family in memory of a loved one. Over the last decade it has raised over $428,000 and brought together thousands, and it was renamed to reflect statewide participation and support.
