Wisconsin Brain Tumor Walk & Race
The Wisconsin Brain Tumor Walk & Race is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Warner Park in Madison, Wisconsin. The event includes a 5K Walk/Run and is presented as a family-friendly gathering for participants of all ages.
The event raises awareness and funds to support the needs of brain tumor patients and their families. Event-day programming includes an opening ceremony that honors survivors and recognizes top individual and team fundraisers, a remembrance ceremony for those lost to brain tumors, a kids fun run for children under 12, and a silent auction. Registration and check-in take place at the main shelter, and there is a closing ceremony after the 5K.
Registration options and fees are listed for adult and youth walkers and timed runners, volunteer participation is free, and a virtual participation option is available at no cost. Event t-shirts are provided to registrants who register prior to June 1, 2026; t-shirts are not guaranteed for those who register after that date. Virtual participants who raise $75 or more by June 1, 2026 will receive an event t-shirt by event day.
Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome on the course, and leashed pets are allowed. The event evolved from an earlier Madison 5K that began in 2013 and, over the last decade, has raised more than $428,000 while expanding to serve the wider Wisconsin brain tumor community.
