Madison Turkey Trot, Madison, WI
The Madison Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 26, 2026 in Madison, Wisconsin. The event uses chip timing and offers a live and virtual participation option with mailed race packets available for a fee.
The race starts and finishes at the Alliant Energy Center (1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison, WI). Free parking is available at the Alliant Energy Center with entry from Rimrock Road; parking is not permitted at Olin Park. Water stations will include water and there is no gear check on site.

Finisher recognition and event gear: participants receive a commemorative finisher medal and can choose between a classic t-shirt or an upgraded thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Greenbush Bakery donuts are provided at the finish line.
Competition and awards: the 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour 20 minutes. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall. Kids Dash participants receive a finisher award.
Logistics and policies: packet mailing is offered for a fee; virtual packets typically arrive 1–2 weeks after race day. Participants must sign an online waiver. Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only; dogs are not permitted. Headphones are allowed but may reduce the ability to hear course directions. The 2026 charity beneficiary is to be announced.
