Event Overview
The Wirral Seaside Runs consist of a series of six races held on the last Wednesday of each month from March through August. Organized by Pensby Runners, this event has been a part of the Merseyside running scene for over 30 years. Course Information
The event features a 5 km course that is categorized as flat and fast. The route begins near Leasowe Lighthouse in Moreton and follows the sea embankment. The race concludes at Harrison Drive, located near the Lifeguard Station. Participants typically run back to the starting car park after finishing, as transport is not provided from the finish line back to the start.
Logistics
Participants can collect their race numbers on the day of the event from the registration desk situated at Leasowe Lighthouse. Runners are advised to keep their race numbers after completing the event, as the same number is used for those who enter future races within the series.
