Chester Spring 5
Chester Spring 5 is an accurately measured five mile road race held on gently undulating country lanes. The course starts and finishes at the Cheshire County Sports Club playing fields and is chip timed. The event is scheduled for 15 April 2026.
The event is organised by West Cheshire AC. The course measurement certificate is 22/104 and the race is held under UK Athletics rules with licence status to be confirmed. The course will be marshalled and roads will be reopened in line with the pace of someone finishing in 60 minutes.
Entry information given by the organiser shows a standard entry fee of £17.00 with a £2 discount for UKA affiliated runners, resulting in a £15 entry for those affiliates at checkout. Entries close on 15 April 2026. There is a minimum age of 15 years on race day.
A prize fund of £750 is provided, with awards for the first five finishers in the open male and female categories, prizes for veteran category winners and prizes for the first male and first female club teams.
