Chester Spring 5
Chester Spring 5 is an accurately measured 5 mile road race held on Wednesday 15 April 2026. The course runs along gently undulating rural lanes and starts and finishes at the Cheshire County Sports Club playing fields in Mannings Lane, CH2 4EU, United Kingdom. The race is chip timed and will be marshalled; roads will be reopened in line with the pace of a runner finishing in 60 minutes.
Entry options are for ages 15 and over on race day. The standard entry fee shown is £17.00; UKA affiliated runners receive a £2 discount at checkout and must use exactly the same name as on their UKA registration. Entries close on 15 April 2026. The organiser has published a prize fund of £750, covering the first five finishers in the open male and open female categories, first-place veteran category prizes, and prizes for the first male and female club teams.
Under UK Athletics rules the event licence is to be confirmed and the course measurement certificate is listed as 22/104. The organiser’s refund policy states that refunds following cancellation are at the organiser’s discretion and booking fees charged by third parties are non-refundable.
