Royden Park : Wirral Multi Terrain League
Royden Park is one of four midweek races in the Wirral Multi Terrain Series held in September 2026. The event takes place at Royden Park, Rangers Office, Hillbark Road, CH48 1NP, United Kingdom, and is organised by the Wirral Multi Terrain Series.
Races are run over mixed surfaces including sand, rocks, mud and hills. Distances vary by category:
- Senior races: 6.5K to 8K
- Junior races: approximately 2 mile
Senior competitors must be at least 15 years old on the night of the first race in the series. Junior categories cover under 15 and U15 age groups. Competitors are expected to be able to complete the course within one hour for safety reasons; a cut off may be imposed on two lap races so that some runners complete only the first lap.
Entries are handled online through Nifty Entries. Fee information given for 2026 includes single race adult and junior fees and series options, with monies beyond expenses used for trophies, medals and spot prizes.
Awards and scoring apply to the whole series. Individual series awards are based on each athlete’s best three of four races. Team scoring runs across all four races, with specified team sizes for male and female teams, and trophies awarded according to series rules.
