Scarborough Rock : overview
Scarborough Rock is a walking and running event held on Saturday 10 January 2026 at Scalby Parish Hall, Scalby, YO13 0RA. The event is organised by LDWA - East Yorkshire and offers two course distances. The route passes along the coast through Scarborough and includes Oliver's Mount, moorland sections, Hackness, Burniston and Scalby. The event is currently full; new entries are placed on a waiting list.

Entry opened on 1 August 2025 and closed on 3 January 2026. The minimum age is 17 or older on the event date. Entry fee is £15.00. At the time of listing there are 348 participants entered and 60 on the waiting list. Waiting list entries require no payment until a place is offered. Withdrawals made before 3 January 2026 receive a refund of the entry fee; withdrawals after that date forfeit the fee.
Food and drink are provided at all checkpoints. Finishers receive a badge, a certificate and a meal. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a short lead at all times. Retirements must be made at checkpoints only. Parking is organised by marshals and participants should follow marshal directions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
