Winter Trail Fest 13.1 Mile Westside
The Winter Trail Fest Westside is a winter trail race taking place at Yankee Springs Recreation Area in Middleville, Michigan. The event offers a half marathon (13.1 mile) and a 5 mile distance. Participants can choose between running or rucking for both distances. A virtual option is also available.
The event is known for unpredictable winter trail conditions, which can include snow, slush, ice, or mud. A notable feature of the course is an optional river crossing; runners can choose a 0.25-mile detour to bypass the water. The half marathon course includes rolling hills and rugged singletrack.
