Reeds Lake Resolution Run
The 44th Annual Reeds Lake Resolution Run takes place on December 31, 2026 in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event centers on a loop around Reeds Lake and is held near East Grand Rapids Middle School with a finish at John Collins Park.
The main course is a USATF certified 4 mile loop around Reeds Lake that is used by runners and walkers. A separate kids race is offered for ages 12 and under and uses a shorter course of about 1/2 mile. Kids receive disco ball medals at the finish.
Since 1982 the event has been held as an end of year tradition and supports Guiding Light Works. Packet pickup is available early at Big Bob’s Pizza and on race day. A post race after party and awards presentation take place at Big Bob’s on Croswell.
Event items and awards include custom die cast medals for the first 1,000 4 mile finishers, disco ball medals for kids, beanies for participants, and overall and age group awards across divisions.
