44th Annual Reeds Lake Resolution Run
The Reeds Lake Resolution Run takes place on December 31, 2026 in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event centers on a USATF certified 4-mile loop around Reeds Lake with a start area near East Grand Rapids Middle School and a finish at John Collins Park. The event continues a tradition that began in 1982 and supports the charity Guiding Light Works.
Distances and format
- 4 miles around Reeds Lake, USATF certified loop
- Kids race, approximately 1/2 mile, for ages 12 and under
- Bare Bones option for the 4-mile distance without a hat
Participant provisions and awards are listed for the event. The first 1,000 4-mile finishers receive custom die-cast medals; children receive disco ball medals. Bean ies are provided for all participants. Overall and age-group awards are offered across divisions. Post-event provisions include Pepsi products, Gordon Water, and hot dogs from Johnny D's Bike Bags. Packet pickup is available the day before at Big Bob's Pizza and on race day, and an after-event gathering is scheduled at Big Bob's on Croswell.
