Event overview
The 43rd Annual Reeds Lake Resolution Run takes place on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event uses a USATF certified 4-mile loop around Reeds Lake and includes a separate kids' race for ages 12 and under plus a Bare Bones package entry option.

The main course starts near East Grand Rapids Middle School and finishes at John Collins Park. The kids' course begins at Collins Park, runs down to the East Grand Rapids Public Safety parking lot, and returns to Collins Park.
Logistics, awards and extras
Packet pickup is available early on December 30 at Big Bob’s Pizza and on race day; post-race activities and awards are held at Big Bob’s on Croswell. The event provides custom die-cast finisher medals for the first 1,000 4-mile finishers, disco-ball medals for kids, and beanies for all participants. Overall and age-group awards are given across divisions; age categories include 12 & under, 13–19, then five-year increments through 80+. Merchandise such as long sleeve shirts and fleece crew sweatshirts is available for purchase. The race has been held since 1982 and supports Guiding Light Works.
