Candy Cane Course - Grand Rapids
The Candy Cane Course is a Christmas-themed running event held at Caledonia High School in Caledonia, Michigan. The event features a variety of distances to accommodate different participants, ranging from short dashes to longer road races. All participants in the timed events receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal.
The event offers the following distances:
- 15k
- 10k
- 5k
- 1 Mile
- Kids Dash
- Virtual Race
The 5k, 10k, and 15k races are chip-timed with live results available at the registration tent. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in various age groups, starting from 10 & Under up to 80+, as well as overall and masters categories. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed events. The Kids Dash is specifically designed for participants aged 10 and under and includes a specialized medal and youth-sized shirt.
Amenities for participants include free photos and treats at the finish line. A virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person, allowing participants to run at a location of their choice and receive their swag via mail.
