Christmas-Themed Running Event in Caledonia
The Candy Cane Course is an annual Christmas-themed running event held at Caledonia High School in Michigan. This sports gathering is designed for families and participants of various ages, offering several distance options and on-site activities.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 15K (9.3 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kids Dash (50m, untimed for ages 10 and under)
Registration for the 5K, 10K, and 15K races includes chip-timing with live results and eligibility for awards. Participants in these categories, as well as the 1 Mile walk or run, receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. A virtual race option is also available for those unable to attend the physical location on race day.
The Kids Dash is specifically for children aged 10 and under. Registered participants receive a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal. Children who wish to participate without receiving the event items may join the dash for free.
Additional features of the event include free photos and food treats at the finish line. Registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday two weeks before the race to ensure shirt size availability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
