Event overview
Valentine's Dash is a 5K road and trail race held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Kentwood, MI (49512). The course uses a combination of trails, roads and paved pathways. Kids and families are welcome. Participants receive a long sleeve shirt, a participation medal and additional items in their packet. Awards will be given to the fastest runners, with an awards ceremony in the Kentwood Library Community Room. Awards can also be picked up the week after the event at the Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department.
Entry, logistics and community use
Base entry price is $30. The price increases after January 9, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. A couple registration option saves $5 per person. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after January 16, 2026. Early packet pickup is available at the Kentwood Activities Center (355 48th St. SE) on Thursday, February 5 (Noon - 5:00pm) and Friday, February 6 (8:00am - 3:00pm), and at the Kentwood Library on race day beginning at 10:00am. All proceeds from the race support the Little Free Pantry, which provides food and hygiene products to community members. Runners who bring an item to donate are entered into a drawing for one free entry to a 2025 race. Volunteers are requested to help on course.
