Winter Season Saunter is a series of trail races organised by Its Grim Up North Running at the Leeds to Liverpool Canal, Wyther Lane, Kirkstall LS5 3BT. The event is Trail Running Association licensed and offers multiple distance options.

The course is a flat, scenic out-and-back along the canal towpath. The route is marshalled and fully signed. Feed and drink stations are provided every 3 miles; participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle because the event operates cup-less. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and treats.
Logistics note the nearest train station is Headingley. There is no parking at the start and finish; Morrisons car park nearby is within walking distance and car sharing is encouraged. Some road crossings on the route are unmanned, so extra care is needed.
