About the race
The Winter Enigma Marathons take place on 4th and 5th September 2027 at Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. Events are held around Caldecotte Lake on a clockwise course.
Distances and format:
- Marathon - 7½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake (clockwise)
- Half Marathon - 3½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake (clockwise)
Route descriptions are provided at the event location. Each marathon has a hard time limit of 7:00 hours; the half marathon has a time limit of 4:00 hours. All finishers of each event receive a unique bespoke medal.
Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, and race referee. There is a large pub car park and water and toilet facilities available on each lap of the lake course. Participants are required to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules. Entry fees listed for the event are £39.99 per marathon and £36.99 per half marathon. The organiser’s cancellation policy specifies no refunds; entries may be deferred up to seven days before the event and transfers must be used within 18 months.
By taking part, entrants declare they are 18 years or older on the event date, are medically fit to compete, and accept that organisers and sponsors are not liable for loss or damage arising from participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
