Event overview

The Wendover Woods Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and Junior 1k take place at Wendover Woods, Upper Icknield Way, Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire on 1 November 2026. The event is described as multi-terrain and hilly and is held in the forest during autumn. A six hour course cut-off is in place.

The 10k uses a multi-lapped route and the course includes significant hills. Age limits are stated for some races: the 10k is open to entrants aged 15 and over on 01/11/2026, the half marathon to entrants aged 17 and over, and the marathon to entrants aged 18 and over.

Facilities, route information and what is included

Route maps and GPX files are available to view and download. On-site facilities include a cafe, Go Ape, an adventure playground and Disc Golf. There is parking onsite. Included with entry are a bespoke medal, free photographs and trophies or prizes for leading runners.
