Wendover Woods Marathon, Half Marathon & 10k
The event takes place in Wendover Woods, Buckinghamshire, at the Wendover Woods site on Upper Icknield Way in Aston Clinton. It is held in autumn when the forest often shows autumnal colours and uses forest trails with mixed surfaces and significant hills.
Race distances offered include:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- Junior 1k
The route setup includes a 10k multi-lapped course and hilly, multi terrain sections. Detailed route maps and GPX files are provided for entrants. There is a six hour cutoff for the event.
Onsite facilities for participants and spectators include an on-site cafe, Go Ape, an adventure playground and Disc Golf, and there is parking available at the venue. What is provided to runners includes a bespoke medal, free photographs and trophies or prizes for leading finishers.
Age limits are specified for individual races. Entry fees vary by distance and on-the-day entry prices are listed for marathon, half marathon, 10k and the junior run.
