Turkey Trot Friday - Long Beach
The Turkey Trot Friday event takes place on Friday, November 27, 2026, along the beach path in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA (5400 E. Ocean Blvd). The course is an open, marked route made up of out-and-back loops on the beach path; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
Distances offered:
- 5k out-and-back on the beach path.
- 10k two 5k loops.
- 15k three 5k loops.
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops.
An aid station at the turnaround/start-finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos, results posted within 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks. The organizer describes the event as offering a friendly, relaxed, and personal racing experience.
There is a 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon; participants needing additional time should contact the organizer. Transfers are possible by contacting the organizer and there is a no-refund policy. Group discounts are available for five or more participants.
