Event overview
The Summer Solstice Run takes place in Long Beach on June 20, 2026. The event offers three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The course runs along the Long Beach coastline and features ocean views and palm trees. The organizer provides professional chip timing and awards both overall and age-group results. All finishers receive a finisher medal. The top three male and female finishers in each distance receive special medals.
Race logistics and services
Bib pickup is available at the Race Ready Athletics tent near the start line. Street parking is free; beach lot parking is charged at $2.00 per hour. The event includes multiple water stations on course and clearly marked routes. There are spectator-friendly viewing areas near the start and finish. Two professional photographers will be on course and at the finish, and race photos are provided free to download.
