Orange Curtain Endurance Run

Orange Curtain is an endurance running event held along the east side of the San Gabriel River in Cerritos, Lakewood, and Long Beach, California. The route uses a 5 kilometer segment of asphalt and dirt bike path that is run repeatedly for the longer distances. The layout for the 100 kilometer distance is a 10 kilometer out and back repeated ten times. The course has an adjoining dirt path for about 90 percent of its distance and aid stations located at the north and south ends of the course.

The marathon course holds USATF certification code CA19020RS and the overall course certification includes CA17011RS. The event has USATF recognition and IAU bronze labels for certain divisions including the 50K, 100K, and 24 hour. The stated start location is the San Gabriel River Mid Trail at the South Street underpass. Free parking is available on Studebaker Road and nearby residential streets. Packet pick up is available at A Snail's Pace Running Shop in Brea; showing a bib there qualifies for a stated discount on purchases. The event is a sponsor race of the SoCal Ultra Series.
