Windham Woods School Thankful Trails 5K Run & Walk
Windham Woods School hosts the 3rd annual Thankful Trails community event on November 14, 2026, at 39 Roulston Road in Windham, New Hampshire. The event features a trail 5K (3.1 miles) walk and run on a two-loop course across the WWS campus trails. The organizers note that trails are thin and uneven in places, the course is not accessible to strollers, and dogs are asked to remain at home.
A free Kids Fun Run across the Lower Field is offered for runners age eight and under; participants in the fun run receive a ribbon and no shirts are provided for that event. All 5K registrants receive a raffle ticket as part of registration, and additional raffle tickets are available for purchase. The event is open to the Windham Woods School community and the public and is limited to 200 total participants. Shirt sizes can be guaranteed for registrations completed by October 15; later registrants receive shirts as available.
The event lists sponsors including Commerce Insurance, the Chicago Sky, the Original Gourmet Food Company, Pepsi, and Tuff Shed. Organizers are seeking volunteers to support the event. Fundraising activity associated with the event has raised $336.97 for Windham Woods School. The participant count on the event page is shown as 99.
