Windham Woods School Thankful Trails 5K Run & Walk
Windham Woods School hosts the 3rd annual Thankful Trails 5K Run & Walk on November 14, 2026, at 39 Roulston Road, Windham, NH. The event features a community 5K walk/run on campus trails and a separate Kids Fun Run across the Lower Field.
Distances and events
- 5K (3.1 miles): two-loop trail course.
- Kids Fun Run: free race across the Lower Field for ages 8 and under.
The trail course is scenic but includes thin, uneven sections and is not accessible to strollers. Dogs are not permitted on the course. All 5K registrants receive a raffle ticket as part of registration; additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase. A raffle, an awards ceremony and a post-event lunch are scheduled for race day. Bib pickup and shirt distribution will take place on race day on the blacktop up the hill behind Windham Woods School.
The event is open to the Windham Woods School community and the public and is limited to 200 5K participants. Shirt sizes can be guaranteed for those who register by October 15; registrations after that date receive available sizes on a first come, first served basis.
