Event overview
The Windham Center 5K is a run/walk held in Windham, Maine on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The event takes place at Windham Town Hall, at the corner of School Road and Windham Center Road. Walkers are welcome and the event donates to the American Lung Association of Maine. Shirts are guaranteed for registrants who sign up by June 15, subject to availability.
Registration, fees and awards
Pre-registration pricing tiers are listed for the event, with a lower early rate, a standard rate through May 1, and a higher fee for later or race-day registration. A free dinner is provided by a local restaurant partner. Awards include cash prizes for overall male and female winners, ten-year age-category awards from 14 and under through 80 and over, and awards for top running club, corporate team, and open team entries of four or more.
Course and contingencies
Course records are listed for the event (male 16:15 in 2018; female 17:52 in 2017). The race has a no-refund policy. In the event of catastrophic weather, a public health crisis, or other extreme events beyond race management control, organizers will attempt to move the event to an alternate date or convert it to a virtual event where participants run the course and submit results.
