Winchester Trail Run, Winchester (Hampshire)
The Winchester Trail Run is an off-road running event taking place near Winchester on Sunday 10 January 2027. The event is in its sixth year and attracted over 1,000 participants the previous year. Two route lengths are offered and dogs are not permitted.
The course runs through the Hampshire countryside around Farley Mount, using tracks, bridleways, and footpaths. The terrain is described as rolling rather than hilly, with tree-lined sections and open views over the surrounding countryside. The longer route includes a short climb up to Farley Mount.

- 21.4k Half Marathon - 248 m elevation gain
- 12.1k Medium route - 144 m elevation gain
The event base is at Sparsholt College, which provides plentiful hard-standing parking. Race entries include chip timing, a high-quality finishers medal, a refreshing drink and finisher goodies, a personalised certificate, first aid cover, on-course refreshments and water stations. Bibs are collected on arrival using a QR code. The event operates a plastic free policy and asks participants to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Course signage uses pink arrows and pink tape, and hazards or road junctions are marked with caution signs. Spectators are welcome and marshals staff the course.
