Winchester Trail Run
The Winchester Trail Run takes place on Sunday 10th January 2027 in the Hampshire countryside just outside Winchester. The event uses tracks, bridleways, and footpaths that surround the local landmark Farley Mount and includes tree-lined sections and vistas over the surrounding countryside.
Organisers describe the route as rolling rather than hilly. The event offers two route lengths, including a Half Marathon trail option and an Epic route that includes a short climb to Farley’s Mount. The event is in its sixth year and attracted over 1,000 participants in the previous edition.
The start area is at Sparsholt College, where there is plentiful hard-standing parking. Organisers encourage new runners to take part and provide a race experience that includes a high-quality finisher medal, a cool drink, and a selection of finisher goodies at the end of each race.
