The Wallop
The Wallop is a timed 21 km trail race on 28 November 2026 held at Grammarsham Dairy on the private Farleigh Wallop Estate, Basingstoke, Hampshire. The course lies entirely within the estate and follows a mix of woodland paths, gravel tracks and open land, keeping the same route as 2025 apart from a new start and finish location at the barn.
The event hub is based in the barn at Grammarsham Dairy, with onsite parking included in entry and toilets available near the start and finish. The barn area provides self‑serve tea, coffee and mince pies and hosts registration and the finish area. Race photography and chip timing are provided.
The route is marshalled and supported by medics and friendly tail runners; there is no cut off time. Water is available at the start and finish and at two cupless stations on the route, located at approximately 6.5 km and 13.5 km; participants should bring a bottle, soft flask or collapsible cup. Trail shoes are essential. There is no secure baggage area; non-essentials should be left in a vehicle.
Entry is limited to those aged 18 or over on the day. The event includes a bespoke sustainable finisher medal, and organisers run several sustainability measures including shoe recycling, cupless stations, and encouragement of car sharing.
