Event overview
The Winchester Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 20th September 2026 in Winchester, with the start and finish located outside The Guildhall in the city centre. The course runs through surrounding countryside and passes landmarks such as St Catherine's Hill, Winchester Cathedral, and King Alfred the Great. The route also goes through historic parts of Winchester and the village of Hursley.

Practical information
Road closures will be in place for the event and the organiser provides detailed closure maps and information. Athletes are asked to read the event Code of Conduct before race day.
There is no official event parking. A multi-storey car park about a five-minute walk from the start is free on Sundays.
