Course and logistics
The route runs through surrounding countryside and passes local landmarks including St Catherine's Hill, Winchester Cathedral, King Alfred the Great and the village of Hursley. The half marathon uses a mass start.
Road closures apply on race day and organisers provide information about them. Volunteers can sign up for marshalling; volunteers receive a credit voucher and community groups can earn a £200 donation. There is no official event parking; a nearby multi storey car park is about a five-minute walk from the start and is free on Sundays. Organisers ask participants to observe the event code of conduct.
