Totton Running Club 10K - 30 August 2026
The Totton Running Club 10K is an officially measured, chip timed road race held under UK Athletics licence conditions. The course comprises two laps of 5 km on roads and pavements with some undulation. The event takes place in Copythorne near Totton, with Race HQ at Stanleys Own Scout HQ, Romsey Road, Copythorne, Southampton, Hampshire SO40 2PB.
Entry is limited to 700 runners and entrants must be at least 15 years old on race day. Entries close 20/08/2026. Transfer of entries will be permitted once the event sells out and transfers close on 19/08/2026. Refunds and deferrals are not available. If the race is cancelled for any reason, monies will not be refunded and proceeds will be donated to a local charity after costs already incurred have been deducted.
Fees are listed as affiliated and unaffiliated rates. Each entrant receives a technical running T shirt and a goody bag. The entry fee also covers medical cover, toilets, parking and water stations. Awards are provided for first, second and third male and female finishers and a first place age grade trophy. The event is organised not for profit and will raise funds for the local community with the local parish church and Scout groups benefiting.
Under UK Athletics rules the use of MP3 players and similar devices is not permitted on the course for health and safety reasons; bone conducting headphones are permitted. Dogs are not allowed with runners on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
