Totton Running Club 10 km road race
The Totton Running Club 10 km is a road race held in Copythorne near Totton. The event is part of the Hampshire Road Race League and is based at Stanleys Own Scout HQ on Romsey Road, Copythorne, Southampton SO40 2PB.
The course consists of two laps of 5 km on roads with some undulation. The route is officially measured and chip timed and the event is held under UKA licence conditions.
Entry fees are listed for affiliated and non affiliated runners and include a technical running T shirt and a goody bag. The fee also covers medical cover, toilets, parking and water stations. Awards are given to the first three male and female finishers and an age grade trophy is awarded to the first place age grade.
The race is organised not for profit and will raise funds for the local community, with the local parish church and Scout groups among the beneficiaries. Total places are limited to 700.
