About the race
Southampton Running Festival, hosted by RunThrough UK, returns on Sunday 31 August 2025 in Southampton. The event takes place at The Avenue, Southampton SO15 7NN, with the start and finish on Southampton Common, a Site of Special Scientific Interest ideal for running. Distances on offer include 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Junior Race, and a Group Booking option.
The course uses laps: 2 laps for 5K, 3 for 10K, and 6 for the Half Marathon, weaving through woodland, grassland, ponds, wetlands, lakes and parkland. Participants enjoy a friendly marshaled atmosphere, a lively event village, themed medals, free race photos, post-race goodies, and sustainability efforts in support of No Limits.
