Wimbledon Half Marathon
The event is based on Wimbledon Common near Rushmere Pond in SW19, with race headquarters and registration located at the same area near Kings College. The route runs through streets around Wimbledon and returns to the common.

Chip timing is used and finishing times are posted as runners cross the line. Finishers receive a medal and refreshments at the finish area including water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. An official race photographer operates around the course.
A free baggage drop facility is provided and will be cordoned off; the organiser advises against storing valuables. Toilets are available at the start and finish area. A medical team is situated at the start area and there is a pre race warm up of around ten minutes shortly before the start.
The event is accessible by car and public transport. The nearest station is Wimbledon; a short local bus service or about a twenty minute walk connects the station to the race HQ. Metered parking is available around Ridgeway and surrounding side roads and participants are asked to consider local residents when parking and arriving.
