Event details
The Wimbledon Half Marathon is scheduled for 17 May 2026 and is organised by RunUk. The event offers multiple distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The race starts and finishes on Wimbledon Common, near Rushmere Pond and Kings College. The course runs mainly through the streets of Wimbledon. Entry is limited to people aged 18 and over on the event date. Entry fees start from £37.
Practical information
Chip timing is used and finishing times are posted as runners cross the line. All finishers receive a medal and finish-area refreshments, which include water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. A free baggage drop will be available in a cordoned area; participants are advised not to leave valuables. Toilets are provided at the start/finish area. A medical team will be located at the start area. An official race photographer will cover the course. A group warm-up of about 10 minutes is planned before the start.
Access and parking: the nearest station is Wimbledon. Bus 93 stops at the War Memorial, and walking from Wimbledon station to the War Memorial via Wimbledon Hill Road and High Street takes about twenty minutes. Metered parking is available around Ridgeway and surrounding side streets; participants are asked to consider local residents when parking.
