Wimbledon Half Marathon
The Wimbledon Half Marathon takes place on 17 May 2026 and starts and finishes on Wimbledon Common next to Rushmere Pond in SW19. The event is organised by RunUk and is open to entrants aged 18 and over on the date of the race.

All finishers receive a medal. Finish area provisions include water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. Chip timing is used and results are posted as runners cross the finish line. A free baggage drop will be available in a cordoned area; organisers advise against storing valuables. Toilets are provided at the start and finish.
A medical team will be situated at the start area and an official race photographer will be on course. A short pre race warm up of around ten minutes is planned before the race start.
The course mainly runs on public streets through Wimbledon and includes a small loop near the finish and at least one notable hill. Some reports note water stations approximately every 5 km. The venue is accessible by car and public transport; the nearest station is Wimbledon. Bus 93 towards Putney Bridge serves the War Memorial stop, and the walk from Wimbledon station to the War Memorial is about twenty minutes. Metered parking is available around Ridgeway and surrounding side roads and participants are asked to minimise disruption to residents.
