Wimbleball Lake Triathlon
Wimbleball Lake Triathlon returns to Wimbleball Lake near Dulverton, Somerset on 30 August 2026. The venue previously hosted Ironman 70.3 events and in 2026 will, for the first time, include an iron distance triathlon.
The event begins with a swim in the lake, where swimming is not normally permitted. The bike stage uses quiet local roads described as lumpy and is run over one, two or four laps depending on the chosen distance. The run course is a 10.5 km lap; athletes complete one, two or four laps according to their race distance.

Event services and inclusions are provided on race day. These include a Sportiva branded water bottle, silicone swim hats, professional chip timing, medals for all finishers, professional first aid and water safety, public liability insurance, fully marked and marshalled course, and feed stations. The event is British Triathlon registered and permitted. Live GPS tracking is available for the iron distance only. There is camping available at Wimbleball Lake.
