Event overview
The Wimbleball Lake Triathlon is organised by Sportiva Events and is scheduled for 30 August 2026 at Wimbleball Lake, near Dulverton, Somerset (TA22 9NU). The event begins with a swim in the lake in an area where swimming is not normally permitted. In 2026 the programme includes an iron distance triathlon at this venue for the first time. Camping is available at Wimbleball Lake. Entry age rules: the Iron and 70.3 distances are open to entrants aged 18 or over on 31/12/2026; the Standard events, Standard Aquabike and Standard Aquathlon are open to entrants aged 17 or over on 31/12/2026.

- 70.3 distance - 1900 m swim, 92K bike, 21K run (2 laps each)
- Standard triathlon - 1500 m swim, 46K bike, 10K run
- Standard aquabike - 1500 m swim, 46K bike
- Standard aquathlon - 1500 m swim, 10K run

Included services and race features listed by the organiser: a long-sleeved event t-shirt (choice of cotton or tech), professional chip timing, medals for all finishers, silicone swim hats, professional first aid and water safety, public liability insurance, a fully marked and marshalled course, feed stations, British Triathlon registration and permit, and live GPS tracking for the iron distance only.
