Taunton Half Marathon & Kids Kilometre Fun Run
The event returns to Taunton Town Centre on 28 February 2027, continuing a race with nearly 40 years of local history under new organisers. The team intends to combine a road race structure with a stronger community feel drawn from their experience in trail events.

Both races use the same town centre race headquarters and the same start and finish area. Runners finish along North Street with the Market House visible, which makes the finish spectator friendly. The town centre will be closed to traffic for runner and spectator safety.
All finishers receive a medal. The half marathon has a four hour cut off. Awards are offered in these age categories for both men and women: Open (under 30), V40, V50, V60, V70. The event will be permitted by England Athletics via the Run Events programme and results will be posted on the Power of 10 portal. The race is governed by UK Athletics road race rules; participants must comply with event regulations. In-ear and covered ear headphones are not allowed; bone conducting headphones are permitted in line with UKA rule T55. Bib numbers must be worn on the front of the torso with the full number visible or disqualification may follow.
