Lindenhurst Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run
The Lindenhurst Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run takes place on November 14, 2026 at Lindenhurst Middle School, 350 S. Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst, NY. Proceeds from the event go to William Rall PTA.
Event distances include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Free Kids Fun Run
Registration options include a paid 5K entry, a sponsor a runner option, and an option to donate only. Registration fees are non refundable. Shirts are available for purchase and personalized bibs are provided for those who register at least three weeks in advance.
The event offers on site amenities such as a DJ, fruit, bagels, coffee, juice, and water. Live results are provided online, and free finish line photos and same day video are available. Awards include top overall placements for male, female, and X categories plus top three in age groups from 12 and under through 70 and older. Ribbons are given to all Fun Run participants.
The course starts and finishes in the parking lot on the side of the school. Parking is not available at the middle school; use side streets. Early bib pickup is offered the day before at Sand City South and day of pickup is available through event staff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
