Lindenhurst Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run
The Lindenhurst Turkey Trot is a community running event on November 14, 2026, held at Lindenhurst Middle School, 350 S. Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst, NY 11757. The event features a 5K race and a separate free kids fun run. Parking is not available at the middle school; participants are asked to use side streets.

Registration options include a paid 5K entry and a free kids run. The base 5K entry is listed as $25; processing and transaction fees apply. Example totals shown are $28.63 (early), $33.80 (later), and $38.98 (event day). Donations, runner sponsorships, and race shirts are offered as additional options. Registration fees are non-refundable and are used for race expenses.
Amenities at the event include a DJ, fruit, juice, bagels, coffee, water, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those registered three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is available at an early session on November 13 at Sand City South and on race day from event staff. The course start and finish are in the parking lot on the side of the school.
