About the race
Wildwood Canyon Trail Run on October 24, 2026 takes place at Wildwood Canyon State Park in Yucaipa, California. The event is organized by Yucaipa Adventure Company and is the second edition of the Wildwood Canyon Trail Runs. The event uses a 3.7 mile loop that gains almost 600 feet of elevation per loop. Runners in the 8-hour event try to complete as many loops as possible within the allotted time; the final loop must be started by the 7 hour 15 minute mark.
The 6K uses the same loop as the 8-hour race. Aid is provided at the start/finish area with water, soda, electrolytes, watermelon, chips, and Thunderbird Bars. A separate water station is located at the highest point of the course. Multiple vendors will be on site during check-in and a live Bluegrass band will perform in the morning.
Awards are presented immediately after the race at the start/finish line. An after party is scheduled at Hops and Spokes Brewery in Yucaipa. Spectators are welcome to attend and cheer on participants. Distances - 8-hour race : 3.7 mile loop, almost 600 ft vertical gain per loop - 6K : one loop of the same 3.7 mile course.
