Wildwood Canyon Trail Run
The event takes place at Wildwood Canyon State Park in Yucaipa, CA (12241 Canyon Dr.). It offers an endurance loop format and a shorter 6K that uses the same loop.
Runners in the main event use a 3.7 mile loop that has almost 600 ft of vertical gain per loop. Participants have eight hours to complete as many loops as possible; the final loop must be started by 7 hours 15 minutes to continue with that loop. An aid station at the start/finish provides water, soda, electrolytes, watermelon, chips, and Thunderbird Bars. A separate water station is located at the highest point of the course. Awards are presented at the start/finish immediately after the event ends.
The event is organized by Yucaipa Adventure Company. Multiple vendors will be onsite and a live Bluegrass band will perform in the morning. An afterparty is scheduled at Hops and Spokes Brewery in Yucaipa. Registration closes on Fri, Oct 23.
