Wildwood Canyon Trail Run - October 24, 2026
The Wildwood Canyon Trail Run takes place at Wildwood Canyon State Park in Yucaipa, CA. The main event is an 8-hour time-limited loop race on a 3.7 mile loop with almost 600 feet of vertical gain per loop. Runners have eight hours to complete as many loops as they can; the last loop must be started by the 7 hour and 15 minute mark to count as a final loop.
An additional Wildwood Canyon 6K follows the same loop used in the 8-hour event, covering a single 6-kilometer lap of the trail. The course features rolling climbs, ridgelines, oak-studded hillsides, and sections of singletrack. The course is described as well-marked and includes a water station at the highest point.
An aid station is located at the start and finish area and will offer water, soda, electrolytes, watermelon, chips, and packaged bars; participants may bring additional items if they prefer. Multiple onsite vendors and a live Bluegrass band are scheduled for the morning. Spectators are welcome.
