The event includes a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and a quarter mile Elves' Trot for children. The Start/Finish is located in front of the Loma Linda Fire Department at 11325 Loma Linda Drive near the corner of Barton Road and Loma Linda Drive in Loma Linda, CA. Participants are asked to park in nearby lots except at the Veteran's Hospital.
The road courses wind through tree-lined streets and provide mountain views with noticeable inclines on parts of the route. The Half Marathon has a four hour course limit, which allows walkers maintaining an 18 minute per mile average pace. The 10K and 5K include an uphill section at the start that becomes a downhill finish.
All finishers in the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K will receive finishers' medals. Trophies will be awarded to the overall top male and female in each race. Division medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each of 20 age divisions. Long-sleeved tech shirts will be provided to participants who register prior to November 1, 2026; later registrants may receive shirts while supplies last.
Post-race provisions include a free breakfast for Half Marathon, 10K and 5K participants and a post-race mini-massage provided by therapists from Precision in Movement. The Elves' Trot carries a nominal $3 charge and includes a Santa medal for participants. The event also accompanies the 34th annual Spark of Love Toy Drive collecting new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for local families.
