Reindeer Run 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Riverside
The Reindeer Run is a holiday-themed running and walking event at Ryan Bonaminio Park in Riverside on December 13, 2026, organized by A Better World Running. The course is an open shared-path route with marked out-and-back loops; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
Distances offered:
- 5k out-and-back loop
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Facilities and course support include park restrooms and portable restrooms near the start/finish area, which are the only restrooms on course. An aid station at the turnaround near start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and GU gels. Dogs are not allowed on the course; strollers are permitted. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; participants who need more time can contact the organizer to request an early start.
Event services included with registration list custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, chip timing, free race videos and photos tied to bibs, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges, Ascend Index and Ascend Crew features, a free event app, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Saturday bib pickup at the park will be available with time to be announced; Sunday morning bib pickup is offered in the same area. Parking is free in the park lot and on Tequesquite Avenue.
