The Wrath of Krampus: Last Person Standing
The Wrath of Krampus is a Last Person Standing endurance race held on December 11, 2026, in Yucaipa, CA, organized by Yucaipa Adventure Company. The event takes place on trail in the foothills of Yucaipa and continues into the night.
Runners must complete a loop of 4.167 miles each hour. At the end of each hour a bell signals whether participants have completed the loop; those who do not finish the loop before the bell are eliminated. The format repeats hourly until a single participant remains.
Basecamp provides warmth and firelight during the event. The race route is a measured 4.167 mile loop on trail terrain and the course extends into darkness, with headlamps commonly used by participants. Limited camping spots are available at Five Winds Camping.
