Citrus Heritage Run
The Citrus Heritage Run takes place on January 9, 2027, at Arlington Heights Sports Park in Riverside, California. The event offers multiple distances that run through the California Citrus State Historic Park and nearby streets.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 10K - 6.2 miles
- 5K - 3.1 miles
- Kids Fun Run - 1 mile
The half marathon route uses a mix of asphalt and dirt surfaces, is lined with palm trees, and passes through citrus groves inside the state historic park where orange blossoms are often noticeable. The 10K and 5K include scenic streets and park sections; live bands perform in the park during the 10K and at the finish area. There are several hydration stops along the courses.
Participant items and awards include tech-fabric long-sleeve shirts, finisher medals, and age group awards. Post-race refreshments list freshly squeezed orange juice from a local grove, warm food, celebratory beer, and hand-crafted mimosas. Volunteers provide support and cheering on the kids course, and parents may accompany children in the Kids Fun Run.
Registration opens February 12, 2026. Most race registrations close September 1, 2026; Kids Fun Run registration closes October 31, 2026. Entry fees stated by the organizer are $70 for the half marathon, $50 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $20 for the Kids Fun Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
