Wildcat Ultras
Wildcat Ultras is a loop-format ultramarathon held at the Escambia County Equestrian Center in Pensacola, Florida. The venue is a 178-acre park with wide, runnable paths and open space for crews and spectators. Distances offered include:
- 100 Miler
- 100K
- 50 Miler
- 50K
- 15 Miler
The course is a repeatable 2.5 mile loop of mostly grass and hard-packed dirt with gentle rollers and no technical sections. The loop format provides frequent crew access and a centralized staging area. The course has been used for local cross country and championship events and is marked for clear turns.
Logistics and support include chip timing with live runner tracking, a centrally located aid station with a wide variety of food and drink items, on-site showers, and RV parking with hookups. RV hookups are $30 per night and include tax, water, and electrical service; a fee applies if vehicles plug into wall outlets. Ice is provided for runners but not for crews.
Pacer rules allow pacers after the halfway point of each distance or sunset, whichever is earlier. Time cutoffs apply for each distance. The event is USA Track & Field sanctioned and insured (Event License ID: 161780). An official race photographer will provide free race photos after the event.
