Wildcat Ultras

Wildcat Ultras is scheduled for September 4, 2027 at the Escambia County Equestrian Center in Pensacola, FL. The event uses a repeatable 2.5 mile loop on mostly grass and hard-packed dirt with gentle rollers and no technical sections. The course has hosted regional cross country and other championship events and is USATF sanctioned and insured (Event License ID: #161780). Race entry is limited to 250 participants.

The race provides chip timing and live online runner tracking. Pacers are allowed after the halfway point of each race or at sunset, whichever is earlier; specific thresholds are 15 miles for the 50K, 25 miles for the 50 Miler, 30 miles for the 100K, and 50 miles for the 100 Miler. Time cutoffs apply: 100 mile 36 hours, 100K 36 hours, 50 mile 30 hours, 50K 20 hours, and 15 mile 9 hours.

Logistics at the equestrian center include RV parking for a fee with hookups, free primitive camping under the covered arena, and on-site showers. Packet pick-up takes place at the venue. A fully stocked aid station sits just past the Start/Finish on the loop and offers a wide selection of snacks, hot foods, fruits, sandwiches, pizza for Saturday night, drinks including water, sports nutrition, sodas and coffee, ice for runners only, salt tablets, and other typical ultrarunning provisions.
