Wildcat 5K and Family Fun Run
The Wildcat 5K and Family Fun Run is a community athletic event held in McLean, Virginia. Sponsored by the Saint Luke School, this event marks its 18th anniversary in 2026. The race is located at 7005 Georgetown Pike, with timing and finish line services provided by Arsenal Events.
Participants can choose from two distinct distances:
- 5 km
- 0.5 miles
The 5 km course follows a scenic route through McLean, characterized by shaded paths and gently rolling hills. For those participating in the 0.5 miles Family Fun Run, the course loops around the Saint Luke Church and Saint Luke School grounds. Participants are welcome to sprint, run, or walk either distance.
The event includes a post-race celebration featuring music, food, and various refreshments. Entertainment options such as moon bounces, rides, and a variety of games are provided for attendees. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, the top Saint Luke Faculty member, and the top three finishers in several age categories starting from age 1 up to 60 and over.
