ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Capital Area
The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Capital Area is a community fundraising event scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026 at The Fields at RFK, 401 Oklahoma Ave NE, Washington, DC. The event offers both in-person participation and a virtual option through the RunGo app. Online registration is closed; on-site registration is available.

- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk
Event features include survivor and caregiver recognition, a Kids Dash, and kid-friendly stations. Photo signs are available at the ZERO table and participants may print signs in advance for use on social channels.
Virtual participation is managed through the RunGo app. The app provides a real time leaderboard and timing, a downloadable Run/Walk playlist, and options to share photos. Virtual participants remain eligible for the same recognition rewards that are available to in-person participants.
Registration is free and required for participation. The event is a fundraising effort; registrants who raise at least $100 by August 29 will receive the official Run/Walk t-shirt by mail before the event. Patients and survivors who register by August 29 receive a complimentary shirt regardless of fundraising totals. Shirts earned or registered for after August 29 will be mailed after the event, and there will be no pre-event or on-site shirt pickup.
One hundred percent of donations support ZERO Prostate Cancer programs for education, screening access, navigation, emotional support, advocacy, and health equity initiatives.
