Wild & Rooted Trail Run
The Wild & Rooted Trail Run is a trail running event at Mt. Cuba Center in Hockessin, Delaware on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Courses run through meadows and forests, alongside ponds, and over scenic terrain managed by the Mt. Cuba conservation team.

- 5K trail run/walk
- 10K trail run
Registration and entry details are provided for each distance and for spectators. Registration is open from August 25 until October 17. Participants who register by October 2 receive a race T-shirt. Entry includes a race bib, all day access to Mt. Cuba Center Gardens and Natural Lands, and post-race fruit, snacks, and electrolyte drinks.
A post-race party is part of the event experience and includes hay wagon rides, walking tours, a live DJ, and a Conservation Collective Expo. Food, beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the post-race party. A spectator pass provides garden access and entry to the post-race party.
Fees listed for registration are $40 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $10 for the spectator pass. Bib pickup is available on the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
