Wild & Rooted Trail Run

Wild & Rooted Trail Run takes place on October 17, 2026, at Mt. Cuba Center in Hockessin, Delaware. The event uses Mt. Cuba Center gardens and natural lands for courses that pass through meadows, forests, and alongside ponds.

This is the second edition of the event. The program includes the same 5K route as the previous year and a new 10K route that explores deeper parts of Mt. Cuba Center's restored habitats.

Registration includes a race T shirt for participants who register on or before October 2, race entry and bib, and all day access to Mt. Cuba Center Gardens & Natural Lands. Post race provisions include fruit, snacks, and electrolyte drinks. Participants and visitors also have access to a post race party with hay wagon rides, walking tours, a live DJ, and a Conservation Collective Expo. Food, beer, wine, cocktails, and non alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. A spectator pass provides all day access to the gardens and party access but does not include race entry.
